CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATE
Turks and Caicos is open for tourism. There's no quarantine on arrival.
- You need a COVID-19 PCR test, taken no more than 3 days before arrival.
- Some information to help you with your COVID PCR test. Antigen tests are accepted IF they are nasopharyngeal tests.
- Some facts to help you with your COVID PCR negative test result:
- All test submissions must be the laboratory report; this is the only document which would provide all the information necessary for us to arrive at a decision.
- All laboratory reports must include the patient demographics, date the sample was collected and tested/reported, sample and test type.
- The sample types being accepted is Nasopharyngeal or Oropharyngeal, these can be abbreviated NPS, NASOP or OPS.
- Only molecular assays are being accepted, the following words or abbreviations will be accepted,

- NAA
- NAAT
- RNA
- Any one of a combination of the following, E, N, ORF, RdRp
- Molecular
- PCR, rt-PCR, rt-qPCR, RNA-PCR
- Antigen test IF it is a nasopharyngeal test ONLY
- If the word antibody appears anywhere in the test name, or it is revealed that the test performed is an antibody test when reviewing the disclaimer or notes this will be rejected.
- In the disclaimer where a laboratory test was developed in-house it must be confirmed that is has FDA EUA approval.

- The use of home test kits is not accepted
- We are not accepting Pixel, Vault and Everlywell.
- We are not accepting, rapid test, antigen and antibody test.

- Proof of travel insurance which COVID-19 related illness is required.
- A Travel Authorization is required (submitted online, click HERE ).
- Local COVID-19 testing is widely available. Many hotels offer free tests for guests.

Testing required to return to the United States
- Antigen testing is required by the US within 3 days of return travel (standard cost is approximately $50)

- A Health Attestation document must be completed by each traveler (this document will be provided by Cruise Planners - Chuck & Ali Schmidt)
